Hello again! It’s been a long time since I made a blog post for my site here. Life so far has been pretty busy as per usual and I just haven’t found the time to sit back and reflect on the lessons I am learning here.

So as I am sitting here thinking about what to write about, I’ll just give a few life updates on what has been happening in my life for the past few weeks. 

Well first things first, I am officially 19 years old now: so this will be my last teenage year before I am officially 20 years old. Wow that actually sounds so old: but I am really grateful for all of the beautiful memories and life experiences that I have had up to this point :). The amount of relationships that I have formed and how far I have come in terms of my academic, social, and spiritual life is so amazing when I look back to where I was just a year ago. Also, this was the first birthday in a really long time where I didn’t have my high school friends around me so it was a bittersweet realization. I haven’t talked to yinne for the first birthday in a pretty long time which is a little confusing: she did make me super happy throughout all of my childhood so I am really thankful to have had such an amazing person in my life for so long. But also it’s a little sad realizing that they probably won’t be in my life anymore soooo. However, instead of sulking over missing the past, it’s important to just have gratitude for the amazing people that we have met throughout our life and be able to look towards the beautiful future that God has in store for us.

In terms of extracurriculars, we had our first show with Six14 which was extremely extremely fun. I really enjoyed dancing and bonding with the other company members throughout my time there. I do want to continue Six14 next year but it is a decently big time commitment and so we shall see if we have the time to do that. Also, we are the treasurer of the Princeton Pre-Dental association now so hopefully that will incentivize you to do your best to become a dentist when you apply for dental school. 

We are on the praise team for Manna’s Servant Team next year so I am super excited for that. Hopefully we can learn a lot from James’s musical talent and become more like him. I think we are going to try to learn piano over the summer to be able to serve on praise team as an actual member rather than just help set up every week LOL

Also as for our summer plans, we are going to EADs with some other people from Princeton so that should be an experience. I am pretty excited to go and serve God in Mexico for the week! And also we are going to Korea over the rest of the summer for 8 weeks with Princeton to take KOR 105/107. Now that is something that I am super duper excited about because I haven’t been to Korea in so long and to experience the culture with one of the top colleges in the entire country is something that I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do. 

In terms of classes, I am still taking Chemistry and Korean, but we are also doing biology and religion which are pretty fun as well. Religion is such an easy class LOL I am happy that we are taking it. 

Welp, I think that’s about it in terms of my life updates. I am still constantly trying to improve myself to be the best version of Jonathan possible and I hope that all of you are doing that as well!

Make sure that you guys stay swaggy, healthy, and cool. Even though I do not see a lot of you guys often, I am excited to see the amazing people that you all will become and how much you grow.
